What is a Business Improvement District?

A Business Improvement District (BID) is a self-taxing district established by property owners to enhance the economic vitality of a specific commercial area.

All properties that face 125th Street between 5th Avenue and Morningside. Businesses located on side streets within these boundaries and the property face 125th Street are included as shown in the map below.
